Intermittent Fasting – Decision Day
ByGenXBratHow appropriate… The day I decide it’s time to start on this whole intermittent fasting plan, my starting weight is 166.6!
I have some specific goals, such as getting my weight down, lowering my cholesterol, slowing down perimenopause hot flashes, healthier skin and hair, and having more energy.
The main question being… is it possible to do this while I’m on the road working?
Did I Mention I Was Blonde… Once?
ByGenXBratWhile I was doing my henna hair experiment this past weekend, I remembered the one time (thankfully VERY long ago) when I’d gone completely blonde.
When I was younger, I occasionally decided to highlight my hair… summer was always a good time for it. Lemon juice was originally what I used, until the SunIn hair lightener hit store shelves (lemon in a bottle)!
Guess What I’m Doing This Saturday – Nope, It’s NOT Gonna Be Fun!
ByGenXBratIf you know what this is an x-ray of, you’re probably over the age of 50, know someone who is, or have possibly had colon issues.
I had a colonoscopy done in my late 20’s or early 30’s. I don’t remember a single thing I can list as fun! I do remember the doctor explaining to me how most people’s colons go up, across, and back down, but that there are a few select people (I’m a lucky one amongst them!) who have a colon that, instead of going straight across behind our hearts, it does this little loop-de-loop type thing. He said he’d really love to have a chance to do a study on it.
Do You Know Where Your Children Are Planking, Owling, Balling, Tea-Potting, Pillaring, or Toothpicking?
ByGenXBratThis is hilarious so I just had to share since this entire blog will be covering many of the fads that have come and gone over the decades of my life.
I just read a post by a friend and fellow marketer that listed many of the crazy things people are doing today, specifically planking, owling, balling, tea-potting, pillaring, and toothpicking. The only one that I was familiar with (and only due to the fact that my sweetheart loves YouTube) was planking, so I went to Google and looked the rest of them up.
From what I can tell, it appears that all of the newest fads are stemming from people who heard about planking, and are making an attempt to “one up” the fad. …

And you start the day by reaching for the soft soap instead of the toothpaste…
