I Survived the “Procedure”… I Think
Yep. Last week I finally made it in to get that dreaded “procedure” done. You know the one… that procedure that no one wants to talk about… EVER!
Well, I’m not shy so here it is. Yes, I got a colonoscopy done. Go ahead. You can say it. I promise it wont hurt. If you’re sitting at the dinner table, you may want to wait till later. Of course, if you’re sitting at the dinner table, you shouldn’t be reading this anyway unless you’re alone. Otherwise it’s rude!! 🙂
Intermittent Fasting – Decision Day
How appropriate… The day I decide it’s time to start on this whole intermittent fasting plan, my starting weight is 166.6!
I have some specific goals, such as getting my weight down, lowering my cholesterol, slowing down perimenopause hot flashes, healthier skin and hair, and having more energy.
The main question being… is it possible to do this while I’m on the road working?
Kid Corner – Wiffle Ball Bat Incident Leaves Permanent Scar
I have a small scar underneath my eyebrow on my right toward the my nose. I got it when I was around six or seven years old.
My neighbors on one side has two daughters and two sons. My neighbor on the other side had two boys, Kenny and Billy.
Joy and I spent a lot of time hanging out and playing with Kenny and Billy and occasionally we would get in a fight with them too. One day, I got really mad at Kenny (I don’t remember why) but I remember chasing him over to his house and, when I got there, I picked up one of those big fat wiffleball bats, backed him up against the wall of his house, and hit him across his chest with it.
Of course Kenny was around the same age, so it probably did hurt him. Even if it didn’t, I do know it made him mad. …Broken Ankle – Independent to Useless in One Step
So many of you have asked where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to. I’m finally coherent enough to explain.
On February 26, I fell off the back of my pickup truck and broke my ankle… both bones in my left foot plus a torn ligament. In less than one minute, my life was turned upside down. Not as bad as some people’s, because I know I have friends tackling much worse things, but it’s definitely taken a turn for the worse.
