AI For Your Health: What It Can Do That Your Doctor Doesn’t Have Time For
AI For Real Life Series — Part 1 of 6
Hey there…
Your doctor is brilliant. Your specialist is talented. Your oncology team is working hard.
And none of them have enough time.
Not enough time to sit with you after the appointment and explain what that number actually means… Not enough time to research every supplement that might help… Not enough time to hold your hand through the fear that shows up at 2am…
That gap… is exactly where AI lives.
My best friend has been fighting oral cancer since 2007. Every time she gets new lab results… she sends them to me. I run them through AI… and I send her back the parts that actually matter in plain English so she doesn’t sit in confusion and overwhelm waiting for the doctor to call.
We’ve found supplements her oncology team approved that nobody mentioned. We’ve been able to put together questions to take to her appointments… questions that fear may have kept her from thinking of alone.
It’s not Google. Google will hand lead you down a rabbit hole every time and leave you wondering if you should be planning your funeral date.
AI will tell you what the result actually means… and whether you need to call your doctor or whether this is expected and why…
Fear lives in the space between what you’re told and what you understand. AI helps close that gap.
I also built a targeted core exercise program designed specifically around MY situation — bone on bone knee, a hip that needs replacing, a broken ankle from 2016, a hernia that needs repaired.
And here’s something the supplement industry doesn’t want you to know…
When a study shows that a specific ingredient does something beneficial… they use a specific milligram dose. Then a lot of supplement companies throw tiny amounts of every studied ingredient into one pill… slap “clinically studied ingredients” on the label… and charge you a premium for something that’s essentially doing nothing.
AI helped me separate the hype from the reality. I can now look at a supplement… find what amount was actually used in the studies… and compare that to what’s actually in the bottle.
Now I buy smarter. I spend less. And I actually know that if my breakfast is a handful of supplements, they’re all there for a reason!
AI didn’t replace my best friend’s oncology team. It didn’t replace my doctor.
It made sure she could show up to every appointment less terrified… more prepared… and ask better questions.
That’s called being a better advocate for yourself and the people you love.
