I’ve been driving for nearly 20 years…
And somewhere along the way I realized… The road signs aren’t just telling me how to drive… They’re telling me how to live…
STAY IN LANE
What other people think of you is none of your damn business… Gossiping about what they’re doing in their lane isn’t going to fix a single thing in yours… Mind your own road… Your lane is the only one you can actually drive… So stay in it…
DETOUR AHEAD
Life doesn’t move in a straight line… Roads get blocked… Plans fall apart… Things you counted on disappear… Doors close without warning… Bodies give out before you’re ready…
And sometimes the detour takes you somewhere the original road never could have…
I didn’t plan to still be driving a truck at sixty… But the detour brought me to AI… And AI brought me to a business… And the business might get me off this truck faster than the original plan ever would have…
That’s not failure… That’s a detour that led somewhere better…
END ROADWORK
It doesn’t mean the road is perfect now… It doesn’t mean there aren’t more bumps ahead… It just means THIS particular hard stretch is done… And you get to go back to a normal speed for a minute… And breathe…
EMERGENCY PARKING ONLY
Sometimes life hands you something that requires you to pull over RIGHT NOW… Not because you’re weak… Not because you failed… But because something happened that needs your complete attention before you can safely keep moving…
Pull over… Handle it… And when you’re ready… Merge back in… The road isn’t going anywhere…
RIGHT LANE ENDS
Most people look at this sign and feel the loss… One less option… One less path…
But fewer lanes means fewer decisions… And fewer decisions means more clarity…
Sometimes the lane ending is the best thing that ever happened to you… Even if it didn’t feel that way when the sign appeared…
ACCIDENT AHEAD
This one is a warning about someone ELSE’S mistake… You didn’t cause it… You don’t know exactly where it is…
But you know it happened to someone who probably didn’t see it coming either…
Slow down… Pay closer attention… Learn from what happened ahead of you… Without becoming part of it yourself…
Every person who has ever lost a business… burned out completely… They were an ACCIDENT AHEAD warning for someone else… The question is whether you were paying close enough attention when you passed them…
LANE CHANGES PROHIBITED — NEXT 1 MILE
You might not like this one… You might cuss out the car in front of you… But it’s one mile… Not forever…
Government restrictions on new technology… Platform rules that limit what you can post… Laws that haven’t caught up to the world yet… None of those are permanent… They’re one mile…
Do what you have to do… And when that mile ends… Resume speed…
OBJECTS IN ROAD
Sometimes Waze warns you… Sometimes it doesn’t…
Nobody put them there specifically to mess you up… The truck driver who blew that tire didn’t know he did it… Life just… happened… And now it’s in your lane…
Go around it… Go over it… Find the creative solution… And keep moving…
Because stopping in front of it doesn’t make it disappear… It just makes YOU the next obstacle for everybody behind you…
The road has been trying to teach us things this whole time… We just had to slow down long enough to read the signs…
